ELLITHORPE, RENEE L. Of Burton, age 71, died Monday, May 28, 2018 at McLaren-Flint surrounded by her family and friends. Funeral service will be held 11am Friday, June 1, 2018 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint, Pastor Daniel Gordon officiating. Burial in Crestwood Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Laura Ann Ellithorpe Community Fund. Visitation 5-8pm Wednesday and 1-4pm and 5-8pm Thursday and 10am Friday until the time of the service at the funeral home. Renee was born in Flint on July 8, 1946, the daughter of the late Raymond and Helen (Johnnie)(Johnson) Harris. Renee was employed with Pepsi Cola and MTA. She was a member of Home Baptist Church in Mt. Morris. Renee loved spending time with her family and loved going fishing. Surviving are husband, Michael; daughters, Kimberly Goins, Traci (Kirk) Wilkinson and Wendy (Patrick) Diebel; son, Robert (Dawn) Ellithorpe; like a son, John Dinnan; grandchildren, Aaron Wilkinson and Kim Neuville, Trevor Goins, Ashton Goins, Dominic Dinnan, Laura Wilkinson, Addison Ellithorpe and Robbie Ellithorpe. She was also preceded in death by her son, Billy Goins, twin sister, Reva Burch and mother-in-law, Sarah and father-in-law, Robert.
