Westerville - Rephard Reed, born on November 11, 1939, in Hueysville, Kentucky, passed away on April 6, 2025, in Westerville, Ohio.

He was the beloved husband of Rhonda Reed and the proud father of Richard Reed; Angela (Skip) Dalton; Mark (Pam) Reed; Robin Gerken; Alicia (Kevin) Ihle; Bryon (Laura) Reed; Christopher (Briana) Reed; and stepdaughter Brandy (Bill) Sullivan. He was also part of a large and loving family that included many brothers and sisters, as well as numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Rephard served his country honorably in the United States Army. Following his military service, he became a respected entrepreneur as the founder and owner of R Reed Trucking. His dedication to his work left a lasting impact on those who knew him through his business.

He was also a member of the Ohio Harness Horseman Association, reflecting his connection to the horseman community.

Born to Creed and Dolly Reed, Rephard's life was marked by hard work, devotion to family, and commitment to his passions. May his memory bring comfort to those who knew him.

In honoring his wishes, there will be no funeral services. Instead, we celebrate his memory by living life to the fullest, just as he did.

RIP Rephard! Rich and family, I am sorry for your loss. As an adult now I cherish how this man kept us in line as we were growing up. Forever will miss running into him and seeing that smile and hearing "Hey Old Man" Sincerely Tim Denman and family.

I´m sorry to hear this, I´ve known Rephard through my job for over 25 years, loading freight onto his trucks. He became a friend to us all. Very kind and thoughtful. I loved talking horses with him. May he rest in peace.

To all my special cousins. May the Lord comfort you during this very sad time . Praying for all of you. I will miss uncle Rephard so so much. He held a special place in my heart. Our special talks and prayers. I will miss his special voice . He sounded so much like my daddy. I loved each and everyone of our families that have went to be with our precious Lord and savior. Until we meet again. Tell everyone of our loved ones see yall soon oneday. We love and miss you. May you rest in peace in Jesus arms.
