Richard H. Barnum, Jr.
Richard died unexpectedly on February 20, 2007 in Edmonds, Washington. He was predeceased by his father, Richard Barnum, Sr. He is survived by his significant other, Karen Babcock; two daughters and their husbands, Tammy, Auburn, Wash. and Chrissy, Chicago, Ill.; also three stepsons, Joseph Potocki, III, Donald Lovejoy, Jr., and Sean Lovejoy; mother, Mildred Barnum, Weltonville; his sisters, Linda Lamb and Debby DeGroat; one brother, Terry Barnum; five granddaughters and a grandson; several nieces and nephews. He graduated from Susquehanna Valley High School in 1967 and was on the football and basketball team who was undefeated that year. He then graduated from Broome Community College with an Associates Degree in Engineering. He also spent over 30 years in his field of Engineering doing Aerospace and Tool Design for places like Boeing, Nordstrom, Dupont and Sikorsky.
