Tyler Burkett was with me the night my own mother died in 1990. He was a huge support in my life. I was 14 years old. He his much loved and devoted his life to the lord. My thoughts and prayers go out to Annette, Carson and Mackenzie. - Emily Dean Hartman

Back in my High School & College years Tyler & I were best of friends. As two young men with dreams of our future we spent countless hours enjoying the fun and fellowship as if we were brothers. We sang together with the "Great Commission Company" and traveled all around Virginia with the group. We even planned & hosted a festival together with the help of others at Mary Washington College in Fredericksburg, Virginia. Tyler held the wedding ceremony for my wife and I in King George County, and though the course of our lives took us in different directions, I will always Thank God for Tyler's friendship. I saw him here in California just a little while ago and it was great to catch up with him for an afternoon after all of these years. My family and I send our sympathies to all of Tyler's family and friends for his passing seemed to have come to soon and we will all miss his presence here among us. However, we know that Tyler will be with God, and those who have gone on from this life before us, so we rejoice in the knowledge that he is in a better place and that we will see him again some joyous day!

Annette our thoughts and prayers are with you, Carson, and Makenzie for the loss of Tyler. The strength and comfort comes in knowing that to be absent the body he is with the Lord. And that he is.

I didn't know Mr. Burkett well but I do remember his laugh. The first time I met him and Anette I was sitting next to them at a performance of Annie. Before the play started Mr. Burkett introduced himself as the dad of an actor and then with a wink warned me they would be hooting and hollering for their son. Well they did. And I did too. Their joy and laughter was contagious. It was from their heart. Mr. Burkett enjoyed every second of that show. He seemed to be filled to the brim with love of life and family. My condolence to all. - with love, Doreen Rice.
