Richard E. Callard

Richard E. Callard, 60, of Lyndonville, entered into eternal rest on November 15, 2007 at his home, after a lengthy illness. Born November 12, 1947 in Albion, NY, he was the son of Raymond and Geraldine (Miller) Callard. Richard was a Councilman for the Town of Ridgeway. He was active in Lyndonville Lyons Club where he currently was serving as President. He proudly served his country in the U.S. National Guard for 23 years. He was an avid hunter and enjoyed his cabin in the southern tier. Richard was the proprietor of Rick’s Frame and Collision Service, which he started in 1981. Rick was noted in the local car industry for his expertise in straightening frames in cars and trucks. Rick will be remembered for his radiant smile and free spirit and love of people.Besides his parents, Rick is survived by his wife, Evelene (Requa) Callard; sons, Brian (Robyn) Callard of Baldwinsville, Shawn (Anna) Callard and Chad (Jill) Callard of Medina; brother, Gary (Dorothy) Callard of Medina; sisters, Peggy (John) Foss of Lyndonville and Lori (Ronald) Ettinger, all of Lyndonville; grandchildren, Aron, Jan, McKenna and Cole Callard.Relatives and friends may call on Monday, November 19, 2007 at the Bates and Tuttle Funeral Home, 112 N. Main St., Lyndonville, NY from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. A memorial mass will be celebrated on Tuesday at 11:00 AM at St. Joseph’s Church, 38 Lake Ave., Lyndonville, NY, with the Pastor, Fr. Joseph Fifagrowicz, celebrating. Burial will be at the family’s convenience in the Bates Rd. Cemetery.
