Richard “Dick� Walton Crane, age 76, died in Lexington, OK, on April 3, 2010. He was born in Ft. Scott, KS, to Dorothy and John Kenton Crane. He graduated from Norman High School in 1952, and attended the University of Oklahoma, where he was on the diving team. He loved reading non-fiction, photos of his family, and was an avid follower of University of Oklahoma sports.
He is survived by His two brothers, John Crane and Robert Crane; His half-brother, John Kenton Crane; His daughters, Beth Ann Cartwright, and Carrie Brothers Crane and His grandchildren, Ashley Risinger, Stephen Patten, and Joel Patten.
He was proceeded in death by: His son, Stephen Michael Crane.
The family would like to thank the staff at the Lexington Nursing home, for their love and dedication.
At the decedent’s request, there will be no services held. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Charity of your choice.
