WOODSTOCK - Richard H. Derebey, 82, of Woodstock and formerly of Deerfield and Chicago, died Sunday, April 16, 2006, at Woodstock Residence in Woodstock.
He was born Feb. 15, 1924, in Chicago, to Chester and Ruth (Perry) Derebey.
He was a World War II U.S. Army veteran. He was the owner of Albany Park Service in Chicago.
Survivors include a son, Steve (Jeane) Derebey of Gig Harbor, Wash.; a son-in-law, Robert Jorgensen of Sleepy Hollow, four grandchildren, Shannon (Sean) Levitt of Crystal Lake, Lauren Derebey of Gig Harbor, Steve Jorgensen of Sleepy Hollow and Karin (Ryan) Smith of Lake in the Hills; and a brother, Donald (Elida) Derebey of Sun City, Ariz.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, Janice Jorgensen.
The graveside service will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, April 19, at Memory Gardens Cemetery, 2501 E. Euclid Ave., Arlington Heights.
Memorials may be made in his name to the Multiple Sclerosis Society, 733 Third Ave., New York City, NY 10017.
