Richard Jameson Obituary

Richard 'Dick' H. Jameson, age 69, of Lorton, died at his residence on Thursday, Feb. 20, 2003. He is survived by his wife, Joan A. Jameson of Lorton; son and his wife, John J. and Beverly Jameson of Fredericksburg; and three grandchildren, Olivia, Benjamin and Timothy. He is also survived by his three sisters, three brothers brothers and a number of loving cousins, who were as close as siblings. An avid reader, he was a member of Our Lady of Angels Catholic Church, a resident of Lorton since 1967, was retired with the Federal Aviation as a Traffic Controller in Leesburg, and he had served in the U.S. Air Force for four years. Friends may call on Sunday, Feb. 23, from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. at Mountcastle Funeral Home, 13318 Occoquan Road, Woodbridge, with a Christian Wake Service at 7:30 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be offered at the St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, on Tuesday, Feb. 25, at noon by Father Peffley. Interment to follow at Quantico National Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Northern Virginia, Attn: Donation Processing, 9300 Lee Highway, fifth floor, Fairfax, VA 22031-1207.
