Richard Levin

Rick passed away on November 25, 2023 at the age of 79. Born on January 1, 1944 and raised in Brooklyn, NY, Rick led an extraordinary life with the love of his life, Elizabeth "Betsy" Levin. Their storybook romance started with a blind date on February 18, 1966; the next day he asked her to marry him and she said yes. They married on June 16, 1968 and during their 57 years of being together they raised their two sons in New Rochelle, NY, enjoyed many years on Candlewood Lake in Danbury and New Milford, CT, and eventually headed south to Land O'Lakes, FL. In addition to Betsy, Rick is survived by his sons David and Jeffrey, daughters-in-law Jana and Stephanie, and grandchildren Jessica and Jacob.

Rick will be fondly remembered as a talented musical recording artist with his closest college friends in The Talismen, a member of the International Brotherhood of Magicians and a fan of the latest tech gadget. He was an innovative marketing executive who worked with top talent including Harry Blackstone, Jr., The Boys Choir of Harlem, New Kids On The Block, Paramount, Columbia Pictures and countless others creating campaigns for the top consumer packaged goods companies and running his own businesses Larido Merchandising Inc. and Unemcumbered Records. He spent many years driving guests and family around Candlewood Lake, sharing stories and good food. He made many friends during his life that would become family to him and Betsy and will be dearly missed by many family and friends.
