Richard Hugh Pollack

POLLACK Richard Hugh Pollack, age 68 of Trumbull, CT, passed away on Tuesday March 6, 2012 in Fairfield, CT. A proud father and grandfather, he is survived by his daughter Deirdre Fletcher and her husband Edward, of Redding, CT, and his two sons, William Pollack and his wife Brigid of Bridgeport, CT, Aaron Pollack of San Diego, CA, two grandchildren, Eddie and Katie Fletcher, and his former wife Kathy Pollack Lerner. Calling hours will be held on Thursday March 8th at 10 AM, followed by a memorial service at 11 AM at Abraham L. Green and Son Funeral Home 88 Beach Road in Fairfield, CT. Rick was a graduate of Central HS in Bridgeport and Quinnipiac University in Hamden, CT. He was employed by the State of CT Social Services prior to owning his own business as an Antique Dealer and Estate Liquidator, including owning the Stratford Avenue Bargain Center in Bridgeport, CT. He would often be found enjoying a cup of tea in the morning at Duchess on Barnum Avenue, and on weekends, doing business at the Elephant's Trunk, Sacred Heart, or Fairfield High flea markets.
