Linda, Helen told me the sad news of Dick's passing away. Ivan and I cannot believe it. We have lost contact over the years but every time I make Dick's Caesar's salad,I think of you two and the many fun suppers we had years ago. Dick was such a gentle and kind person, always made you feel good. My kids have inherited the recipe!

Our sincere condolences to you and your family. I would very much like to get in touch with you on our next visit to Ottawa. A big hug from both of us.

We have had the pleasure of enjoying Dick's company in an employment setting at the Treasury Board of Canada, on the golf course at the Amberwood Village Golf Club and at Maple Leaf Estates in Florida. Dick was soft-spoken with a great sense of humour. He was someone with whom we enjoyed golfing, sharing a beer and most often a joke. Dick's passing has left us in shock and grief, knowing that we have lost an incredible gentleman and a dear friend. Our hearts go out to you Linda and we are here for you if you should need us.

This is horrible news Linda, as you well know. I followed Dick through the chairs at Chaudiere, and his work was always an excellent example. I'm Master again, and on behalf of all his lodge brethren - we will cherish his memory in our hearts.
