Every day I think about you. I am certain you did not feel well for a long time and it is my deepest hope you are now at peace. You will remain in my thoughts and I will
hold close the memories we made together.

G'day Ricky Boy... you were a great mate loved by all, it was the mid 80s when we met, at the ten pin bowling lanes on a Tuesday night.. at Chadstone, Melbourne Victoria Australia .. great competitor... but mainly a great character... so much so, we joined together to make a side that included the likes of slugger, Kenny Lingus, Bronwyn James, Eva and Karen... Bronwyn was made captain and you came up with the team name BJ and the bears ... we had some great times during the rein, all pretty much new to the game most of us, accept yourself ... and against all the odds beat the reining champs to take a memorable premiership, the year was 1987. It was not long after that I got you done to the St. Paul's cricket club, to play a sport that you had been involved previously, this again was Brought instant success, you played in a premiership side, and later on would coach the club. You made some great friends during those times... you brang great laughter to many, and never shy of a good joke ... you were also willing to help others, and you job skills were second to none. You were always going out of your way to do jobs for people, e.g mum, mother in law, friends at the club... and during those times it was those old dog noises that you would make, that would be making everyone laugh .... you were a classic mate . I remember my 40th birthday 16 years ago, and seeing you and Jennifer, it had been a long time since I had seen you from those good ole days... it was a big surprise that brought a tear to my eye, a happy tear... that was the last time I saw you in Melbourne, you made a great life in the USA with the lovely Jennifer, I loved our skype calls, which made us laugh it recent times you had been going through tough times, I was glad you could reach out to me, and with the support of TD and all past players at St Pauls, we were alway be remembered my good friend ... I going to Miss those messages about your beloved bombers next season... you know what I will keep you updated all the same... thanks for the memories Ricky boy, love ya mate ...
