It is only today that I heard of Rick's untimely passing. We worked together at Cities Service/OXY where we became friends. Rick taught me the ropes on succeeding as a new technician and helped me to advance my career (and our friendship) whenever he could. We had kept in touch over the years, talking by phone 2 or 3 times each year. I last spoke with him in January and he was in high spirits then. If he was sick at the time, he said nothing to me. I'm truly saddened to hear that he's gone. Anyone who knew Rick ("the Nun"), got a front row seat on how to live life wide-open, full-throttle. He always had time to talk, tell a joke, and generally make you feel better about your life. I'll miss him. He was one of those rare one-of-a-kind people that only come along every so often. He was a great man and an even better friend.

I worked with Rick when he was at Postrock. He was one of the best people I have worked with and a great guy. He liked Blues music and came out a few times to hear a favorite band. What a loss of a good man! Jane McHose.

I was so saddened to hear about Cousin Rick's passing. I have great memories of times together when we visited each other. When I talked with him in recent times, everything was about his kids. He loved you so much. Rest in peace, Rick.

So so sad to hear of Rick's passing. Bob and I had the opportunity to share many hours of soccer on the sidelines with Rick and getting to know Josh and Cindy. Our most heartfelt sympathy goes out to you.

My sincere condolences to Rick's family. I grew up with Rick at Parkland Baptist Church. I will always have fond memories of Rick and his parents as they were a great part of my early life.

I was saddened to hear today of Rick's passing. We were so close as kid cousins and it hurts my heart that I didn't even know he was sick. Rick took me to church with him in 1969 to Parkland Baptist Church. It was then, at the age of 16, that I walked down the isle and gave my life to Cnrist. His mom and dad were there, too. So you see, I know that God chose me before I was born, but He chose Rick to lead me to Him. The most precious gift of all. Thank you, sweet cousin. I know you are singing your praises with Jesus now! I love you and will see you again! Dee

Thank you for allowing me to be part of your family. One of my most precious memories was having Easter with your mom and dad in Tulsa and singing in the chour at Witcher. We will see each other again. ♡Rest in Peace♡
