Robert "Bob" Willard Weida

Robert "Bob" Willard Weida - 66, of Perkasie, PA; formerly of Blandon, PA died on Wednesday, February 26, 2014 at Rockhill Mennonite Community.

He was the loving husband of Denise Ann (Leisey) Weida for 25 years. Bob was born in Allentown, PA to the late Willard George & Cleonice Minerva (Bleiler) Weida.

He graduated from Kutztown High School, class of 1965. Bob served as an Aircraft Mechanic in the US Air Force for 4 years. He graduated from Penn State Berks Campus. Bob was employed as an Electrical Designer for ABB, retiring in 2012. He was a member of the American Motorcyclist Association. Bob loved spending time with his family and grandsons. He was known for his sense of humor and his passion for model trains.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by a step-son, Matthew Farr & wife, Erin of Sinking Spring, PA; a daughter, Rebecca Nicole Weida of Gallup, NM; two grandsons, Konnor Steven & Bryce Matthew Farr, both of Sinking Spring, PA; a sister, Kathryn Schaeffer & husband, Nelson of Allentown, PA; two brothers, George Weida & wife, Martha of Fleetwood, PA, Richard Weida & wife, Nancy of Dennis, MA; four nieces, Karen Weinrich & husband, Christopher of Port Orange, FL, Gretchen Belinger & husband, Bert of Fallon, NV, Brigit Hoover & fiancé, Eric Larsen of Linthicum Heights, MD, Kim Schultz of Sinking Spring, PA; four nephews, George Weida & wife, Kaz of Ogden, UT, David Schaeffer & wife, Jodie of Duluth, MN, Peter Weida of Reading, PA and Jeffrey Schaeffer of Cincinnati, OH.

A viewing will be held on Wednesday, March 5, 2014 from 9:00 am – 11:00 am, with service at 11:00 am, at Calvary Church, 820 Route 113, Souderton, Pennsylvania 18964.
