Robert "Bobby" DeMarco Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Nov. 17, 2012.
Robert (Bobby) Paul DeMarco, 56, of Ballwin, MO left us far too early on Saturday, November 17, 2012. Bobby is the fourth, "Miracle Child", of Katheryn Beaton DeMarco and Frank DeMarco and was born on August 21, 1956 in Eastchester, New York. He is the beloved younger brother of Lana Formato of Las Vegas, Nevada, Fred DeMarco (Kathe Milner), and Janice DeMarco Franklin (Doug) of Columbia Missouri. Bobby received an A.S. in electronics from Alfred State College – SUNY College of Technology, and Columbia College, graduated with a BA in business from Columbia College in 1982. During his Columbia years Bobby helped his brother Freddie DeMarco make the Déjà Vu Nightclub a Columbia entertainment icon. We all cherish those years. Bobby married Suzanne Busher in 1986 and they had two children, Andrew DeMarco and Katherine DeMarco of Manchester, Missouri and Andrew and Katie were the loves of Bobby's life. Bobby loved his family. He was a devoted uncle to Alison Franklin Milam (Shane, William, and Penelope) of New York City, New York, Kim Dans (Chris, Andrew, and Reid) of New Jersey and Kim Frazier (Allen and Dane) of Mattawan, Michigan. He was uncle and Godfather to James Franklin of Columbia, Missouri. "Uncle Bobby" will be forever cherished in their hearts. Bobby is mourned by Uncle Lenny DeMarco of Arizona, Aunt Rose DeMarco Barattini and Margaret DeMarco of New York. His loss is also being mourned by cousins Christopher and Tina Beaton of White Plains, New York, Brenda and Lisa Wallace of New Rochelle, New York, Brad Bigioni of Princeton, New Jersey, Donald Bigioni of Phoenix, Arizonia, Douglas DeMarco of New York, Satir DeMarco and Karen DeMarco of Colorado. The cousins will miss Bobby. In addition to his parents, Bobby is preceded in death by Uncles Rocco DeMarco, Tony DeMarco, John Beaton, and Alex Bigioni and Aunts Jeri Beaton and Carol DeMarco Bigioni. He worked at MasterCard as a Systems Engineer. For 6 years prior to that he worked for AT&T. Music was one Bobby's passions. He was a talented and enthusiastic guitar player. His midnight solo riffs were legendary. Music also brought him Debbie Dempsey, a kind and loving companion who brought great joy to Bobby's life. Our lives will be less without Bobby DeMarco. The love and the laughter he gave us are irreplaceable. We were blessed to have had him for an all too short 56 years. A visitation will be held from 2:00 pm to 3:45 pm on Friday, November 23, 2012 at Memorial Funeral Home. Funeral service will follow at 3:45 pm. Burial will be privatre in Memorial Park Cemetery.
