Dear Ruth and family;
We were so shocked to hear of Bob's passing. He was always such a happy, enthusiastic person. We will always remember our visits with him as fun times. His smile was contagious. It seemed it was his job in life to make sure everyone else had a wonderful experience or time, we also remember the tours and his commentary, whether it was at University reunions or in Mesa or Victoria. Our thoughts are with you and your family at this very difficult time. With deepest sympathy - Lloyd and Darla Spicer.

Joanne, I want to extend my heartfelt sympathy to you at this very sad time. It was always evident how much your dad loved his family and how proud he was of each of his children and his grandchildren. He was a beautiful man in every way. Ruth and all of the family - We are so sorry to hear about Bob. My memories of Uncle Bob all include his huge, brilliant smile and the twinkle in his eyes as he teased someone. He was so obviously proud of all of his children and grandchildren and never failed to show us pictures and tell us about their lives when we got together. Bob touched many, many lives with his outgoing nature and sense of humour and I believe that we are better for having had him in our lives. We will miss him, but I know that I will always have a smile on my face when I think of him.

Dear Ruth, I am so sorry for your loss. Bob was a really special person, and I always looked forward to seeing him when you stayed at the Regent. It meant so much to me when he brought you all to my performance, and his stories brightened my days in the restaurant. He was full of light, and and I will always remember him. My thoughts are with you.
