Robert Burdette Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Jan. 16, 2025.
Robert Paul Burdette passed away on January 1, 2025, in Atlanta, GA. He lived a magical life of 77 years. He grew up as an outgoing young man on a farm in Delaware, Ohio. Bob displayed charisma and leadership from an early age. In high school, he played bass for the area's first and only rock and roll band. His popularity from that led him to become class president.

After graduating, Bob served as a Navy Corpsman dental technician embedded with the Marines during the Vietnam War. He experienced the harrowing events of Khe Sanh and took immense pride in serving alongside his military brothers. That experience led him to become a fearless warrior for peace. For his acts of valor and meritorious service in combat, he was awarded the Marine Corps Bronze Star Medal, one of the military's highest honors, recognizing exceptional bravery and performance under challenging conditions.

Following his military service, he found knowledge of inner peace through a Prem Rawat community that taught him the power of meditation. He pursued his passion by attending Life University's chiropractic school. As a chiropractor, Bob dedicated himself to healing the lives of those around him.

Dr. Bob, as he was known to all, left a written legacy of three books chronicling his lifelong journey toward inner peace and sharing "Clean Sweep" technologies-tools designed to free himself and universes from darkness to serve The Creator most appropriately. He would marry and divorce twice while bringing three boys into the world. Despite facing health and financial challenges later in life, Dr. Bob maintained an enduring optimism exemplifying his resilient outlook. He was a very charismatic and unique individual loved by all who got to know him. His favorite catchphrase to say to anyone who ever asked him how he was doing is a lesson for us all to live by.

"Worst day I ever had was wonderful"

He is survived by his sons William Blayne Burdette, Travis Ryan Burdette, Derek Ian Burdette, and his sister Kathryn Ann Stults.

Dr. Bob's remarkable life touched many through courage, wisdom, and compassion. May his memory bring comfort to all who knew him.

I met Dr Bob probably 1980 and he was always the kindest most positive person I have ever met. The last time I saw him was in Asheville NC at an event. He was a talented healer and generous soul. I had moved from Atlanta so hadn't seen him in 10 years. I am sad to know he has passed, but was privleged to know him and see the beautiful trbute to him!

Dr Bob is not a man easily forgotten. His kindness, gentleness, and his heart of goodness were unwavering. I have always felt blessed to be in his Presence.

Each class he offered for years in Flat Rock was exhilarating. I have many recordings from classes he provided starting in July of 2015. Our illustrious guests included visits from Saint Germain, Quan Yin, Sananda, El Morya, Mother Mary, Valiant Thor, Rudolph Steiner, Wayne Dyer, Elizabeth Claire Prophet, Nikola Tesla and a number of Galactic Nation representatives.

I Am honored to have called him my dear friend and I miss him every time I think of him. I pray he and his guests will continue to visit me!

Hugs and condolences to family and friends. I knew Bob for years through his Chiropractic practice and through our meditation group. He was tireless in providing service to others, and always full of joy and love. Bob was a powerful healer and developed techniques to help clear and clean the physical and light bodies from energetic discordance. I am forever grateful for all the work he did for our family over the years. He is a bright light and will be missed.

Dr. Bob has been a healer, spiritual guide, and friend to me for the past 17 years. I miss going out for breakfast, his favorite meal of the day. I miss being adjusted by his Angelic Touch Technique when my body was out of alignment. Lately, I miss our daily phone calls. I miss watching him tease and bring smiles to everyone he met. His fearlessness showed me how to face my fears and uncover my mental/emotional laws of lack and limitation. He brought in the Clean Sweep Transformational Technologies to eradicate darkness in our distorted beliefs that kept us from our ALL of health, wealth, happiness, and the time to enjoy it. Knowledge, understanding, and practice of these technologies led me to inner peace and love of who I truly am, for which I will be eternally grateful.

I always enjoyed talking with Dr Bob after the Namaste Church service on Sundays & whenever he would have a get-together at his house (or someone else's house). He would channel St Germain, Valiant Thor, or various other higher beings. You never knew who was going to come through & share with us. The conversation was always lively as well as spiritual in nature.
