Robert DiNozzi Obituary
Robert O. DiNozzi of Brewster, NY died Tuesday June 1, 2011 in Mt. Pleasant, NY at the age of 86.
Mr. DiNozzi was born February 13, 1925 in Villa Santa Maria, Italy son of the late Joseph and Mariana (Dilello) DiNozzi. He moved to the United States and settled in Bronx, NY in 1950. On April 2, 1970 he married Barbara Kolodziejski in Yonkers where they lived until 1983 then moved to Port Saint. Lucie, FL until they moved to Brewster twelve years ago. Mr. DiNozzi owned Marbona Restaurant in Manhattan then owned Robertos Restaurant in Crestwood, NY before retiring in 1983. Mr. DiNozzi was a member of St. Lawrence O'Toole Church in Brewster.
In addition to his wife Barbara of Brewster he is survived by five children; Susan Furka of San Marcos, CA, Robert DiNozzi Jr. of Katonah, NY, Paul DiNozzi of Chappaqua, NY Frank DiNozzi of Chicago, IL, Lisa Venuti of Brewster, NY, a brother Ettore DiNozzi of Stanford, CT, a sister Carmalina Teti of Rome, Italy and thirteen grandchildren.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated today Friday June 3, 2011 at St. Lawrence O'Toole Church in Brewster, NY. Internment will follow in Ferncliff Mausoleum in Hartsdale, NY. Calling Hrs. were held at Beecher Funeral Home in Brewster, NY on Thursday
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Mr. DiNozzi's memory may be made to the American Alzheimer's Association.
