There will be no formal services as requested by the family.
He is survived by his longtime companions, Shanon Boquet and Pebbles; his mother, Mary; sisters, Rhonda Lopez and Diane (Michael) Bueche; brothers, Brad and Tim; sons, Chris, Craig and Derek; and seven grandchildren, Emily, Ian, Rylee, Hunter, Cohen, Owen and Aayla.
In death, he joins his father, James Flurry.
In lieu of flowers, donations will be accepted by Samart Funeral Home of Houma, Bayou Blue to help with final expenses

I just want to say hi to the Flurry family James was a big influence on my life he was there when I started driving truck Buba came into my life as a good friend and also a Fellow truck driver . I also work for James driving a truck for him then later in years I bought my own James and Buba gave me a lot of influence on what I did for a living at a time now I am retired and I'd like to tell miss Mary i'm very sorry for her loss but I cherish the years I knew both of them I don't know if you remember me but my name is Dennis Dupre everyone know me by hot wheels when I had my 18 wheeler make both of them rest in peace
