Robert HAMELIN Obituary
Passed away on October 15, 2016 at the age of 81. Son of the late Samuel Hamelin and the late Blanche Faucher. He leaves in sorrow his beloved wife Claudette Hamelin (nee Benoit), his loving son Daniel (Robert), his brother Richard (Desneiges), his sisters Denise Groleau (late Roger) and Carmen Morneau (late Donald), as well as many nephews, nieces and friends. He was also predeceased by his brothers and sisters Rosaire (Jeannine), Rita Gervais (late Conrad), Odette Délorme (late Roger), Léonard (Thérèse) and Ruth Dupuis (late Gabriel). Mr. Hamelin was a proud member 4th Degree of the Knights of Columbus Louis St-Laurent and a member of l'Institut Canadien-Français d'Ottawa. The family would like to thank the 6th Floor Hematology Department of the Ottawa Hospital – General Campus for the excellent care provided. A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, October 20, 2016 at 11 a.m. at Racine, Robert & Gauthier Funeral Home Chapel (180 Montreal Rd, Ottawa). The family will receive condolences from 10 a.m. In Memory of Mr. Hamelin, donations to the Ottawa Hospital – General Campus would be appreciated.
