MANCHESTER - Robert Carl Longhi, born June 28, 1948, died March 15, 2016 to complications of cancer. He was born in Manchester, New Hampshire to Theresa Clement and Mario Longhi.

He is survived by his wife Marilyn Hudson Longhi and his three children, Steven Longhi, Cynthia Longhi, and Laura Longhi Johnson; his brother Donald Longhi; and sister Melanie Mullen. He had six beautiful grandchildren and many nieces and nephews and cousins.

Robert proudly served in the U.S. Navy on the aircraft carrier USS Saratoga. He was extremely proud to be part of a crucial element of Operation Deep Freeze while stationed in Antarctica.

After leaving the military, he had several jobs until he found his calling as a professional truck driver with over 2,000,000 recorded miles. His true passions were the love sports, coaching youth Baseball and the great outdoors, to include hunting and fishing.

Upon his retirement he became a seasonal fishing tour guide on the many lakes in New Hampshire specializing in salmon fishing. During the school season he was a beloved school bus driver for the Goffstown School District.

He was very loved by the many people he's touched in his life and will be truly missed
