Robert Finlay MUNROE

MUNROE Robert Finlay April 5, 1936 - October 17, 2009 Robert Munroe of Whitehorse, Yukon, known as Bob to his friends and family, died in Whitehorse, Yukon after a brief battle with cancer. Bob was a previous resident of Mission, BC. He was an active member of the International Union Of Operating Engineers Local 115 and during his working career travelled with his family throughout British Columbia and the Yukon. Bob retired in 1996 and returned to the Yukon Territory where he enjoyed camping and fishing. He was a member of the Yukon Order of the Pioneers Dawson City Lodge No. 1. Bob is lovingly remembered by his children, Malcom Munroe (Bobbi Joe) and Tanya Fryer (David); grandchildren Kathleen, Victoria, Crystal and Carson; sisters Heather Klassen, Carol Pearce and Geraldine Van Bibber and many nieces and nephews. A service will be held in accordance to Bob's Master Plan in Dawson City Yukon during the summer of 2010.
