Got to know Mr. H over the last 30 years after connecting with Kyle in high school. Lots of great memories and laughs together. Godspeed Mr H and the Hoffman clan.

Dear Suzy,
I extend my condolences and pray for him, you, and your family. I remember Bob being one of the persons who welcomed me into the St Norbert's parish. He always had a good story and was always there to share his experiences. I will miss Bob's energy, willingness to help, and of course his humor at the Knights of Columbus meetings. I feel special for meeting a person like Bob. Take care and best regards

Suzy, Jon & Kyle: Bob has been on my mind the past couple of days, and now I know why. Bob and I lived in Indian Ridge and rode the school bus together, had HS classes together and served on Catalina HS Student Court together - the beginning of his love for the law? I don't recall seeing each other during our years at the U of A, but in 1970, he walked onto a TWA DC-9 in Dayton as I was pulling boarding pass stubs and directing passengers to their seats. Our paths crossed once again in 1978 or '79 on a TWA flight. In 2002, after countless hours of searching the internet as Chair of Catalina High School's 50th Reunion, I was delighted to find Bob in Newtown Square, PA. Thank you, Suzy, for making the trip to Tucson so he could reunite and celebrate with his HS classmates. After reconnecting in 2002, we occasionally shared Air Force stories via emails. When I first met Bob at the school bus stop in September 1958, it was the one year anniversary of the loss of my father in an RB-57 at Andrews AFB. Given his brilliant scientific mind, Bob possessed a wealth of aviation information about the RB-57, some of which was a comfort to me. I am deeply saddened at the news of his passing; he was one of the good guys. I'm holding you close in my heart, now and in the coming days. When next I visit my parents' gravesite at ANC, I will also visit Bob. Rest in peace, my friend. Gail Wyman Remaly
