News Death Notice
SHOEMAKER, Robert Lee Robert Lee Shoemaker (also known as Punk and Snaggle Puss) passed away May 29, 2015. He was born May 20, 1976 in Xenia but lived in Springfield. Survivors include his Parents, two daughters; Brittany and Kirsten, sisters; Misty Berk and Billie Travis, brother; Hiram Christian Jr. and special cousin; Terry Toner who was like his brother.. Robert will be missed by all his nieces, nephews and other family and friends. He enjoyed fishing, spending time with his girls and visiting family. Robert was a very kind and loving person. He was always helping others, always joking and playing around. A week after his 39th birthday he lost his battle with cancer. Funeral services will be held at 1:30PM Thursday in the JONES-KENNEY-ZECHMAN FUNERAL HOME with Pastor Wiley Perkins officiating. Visitation will be held for one hour prior to the services. Burial will follow in Woodland Cemetery, Xenia. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the family.
