So much left to say, and only this guestbook left to say it too.
I miss you everyday. The kids may have never met you, but you've given them some of their best qualities. My daughter, she got that ambitious drive, & the brains to match. My son, well he got that special brand of whimsy. His love of what makes Disney magic would make you proud.
I'm so proud of all your accomplishments. So many people who's lives were made better by your presence.
I love you, Dad.

I am only now learning of the death of Bob. He was a good person, and the entries from all over the world attest to this fundamental characteristic. Bob's passion and energy filled any room he was in. The world of education has lost a good and gifted person. His greatest passion, however, was his family, and we always enjoyed hearing stories about Carol, Meg, and Ryan. One of Bob's references once said to me, "If you get a chance to hire Bob Spellman, HIRE HIM." We did, and we are grateful that our paths crossed if only for a very few short, but very eventful years.

I only just heard about Bob's passing and was pretty shocked. I met Bob when he was Head of School at TGS. He was a lovely warm & caring person who helped my son through hard times.

I am very sorry to hear about Bob's passing and will hold his family in my thoughts. He cared so much for the students and staff of THINK Global School and always put those friendships and connections first. I hope his family finds comfort in knowing that Bob's daily motivation for work came from an undying passion to serve and support his family.

It took me a while to be able to revisit this page and see his picture. I couldn't look at it without feeling the sadness that I felt when I found out of his passing. I was one of his students at THINK Global School and felt very close to him. He was the best head of school I've ever had and one of the best people I know. He was a friend and a role model for me, and I know he had touched the lives of my fellow classmates more than he could know as well. I am so sorry, Mrs. Spellman and Meghan Spellman and know that your husband, your father was so loved.

To the family.....when we lose a loved one here on earth, we gain an angel in heaven that watches over us. May you take comfort in knowing that you have an angel to watch over you now. I extend to you and your family my most sincere condolences. I was out of the country when I learned of Bob's passing. He will truly be missed at work at Universal Studios. My conversation with Bob on the 28th before I left he asked me to pray for him because he had some plans in the making and for me to have a wonderful trip. My heart is heavy because he was amazing and I looked forward to seeing him each week and having some very intellectual conversations about life and politics. To his wife and daughter......oh how he loved the two of you so very much and it showed in the way he spoke about you! Find comfort and peace........I pray that as time passes the pain will ease your hearts! I know I will see my friend again one day.......so go on Bob and take your rest.....we loved you but God loved you best! Amen

I was very sad to hear of Bob's passing. I met Bob while visiting my daughter Yuan at TGS while they were based in Chiang Mai. We spent a beautiful sunny afternoon sitting outside chatting about our careers in international education. What struck me most was how passionate he was about teaching & learning. I know Yuan thought very highly of Bob and has reflected on many of their conversations over the past few years - he had a lasting impression on her and I am glad she had that opportunity.

Bob will be missed by many. He has touched so many people's lives in so many ways. I also worked with Bob at Daley's. He was more than just a partner-he was a friend. He helped me also during times of struggle. He was always ready and willing to lend an ear and/or a shoulder. To Carol and the kids-I hope you can find some comfort in knowing that, even though he is no longer here with you, he and his spirit live on in the many memories that are shared by so many people. When we think of Bob we can't help but smile and I hope that through reading these wonderful stories and tributes to Bob that they will bring a smile to you too. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

I was Robert's trainer at Walt Disney World. He was a wonderful, friendly person, a quick learner and a friend. We would talk in the mornings and his smile would light up the room. I was always happy to help him along with answers from time to time, but he caught on very quickly. I will miss him and remember him always, as he was one of my BEST students. Prayers of love to all the family and to all who knew him. There is a big space in the heart of the Call Center that will never be filled. Robin Goglas

I still remember the first time we met. It was in Ecuador, and he was cracking jokes. He had told me, "Without laughter, there is nothing."
He is such a kind soul, always making sure that his students were well-taken care of (headmaster's day off). He was also one of the most interesting people I have met, his life story spanning from free Disneyland tickets to his foray into running schools.
He will be missed.

Dr. Spellman and I met at Evans High School where he served as a Staffing Specialist. We both shared stories of our daughters who have similar backgrounds. The fondest memory I have is when he and I shared pictures of our families and the trips we've taken abroad; I enjoyed watching his face light up with glee. Bob's stature and presence will be missed.
Peace and blessings to his lovely wife, children, friends, and extended family. May God keep build a fence all around you everyday.
Kindest,
Ms. Pritchett

Everyone who Bob came into contact with, had to love him. He was a great listener and always could provide advise, or set you up with the people with the right answers. Bob was a great caring and respectful person who enjoyed comforting others, and made himself available to anyone in need. To know Bob, you understand that your soul was touched in a way that inspired you to be kind and compassionate to everyone. I am a better man for the time I spent with Bob, and I thank God for that chance and try to pay it forward everyday. To Carroll and the kids, thank you for sharing him with all of us. Bob's death has taken us all but surprise, but allows to reflect on the good things in life that Bob stood for. As we enter this Easter Holiday, I know that Bob you too will be risen to the Heavens above. God Bless you. Jack Daley and Family.

I can't believe Bob is gone. He was my head of school while I was in high school in the tenth grade. Although I only knew him for a year I felt like he saw me with a depth not many people would take the time to look into. It wasn't like we spent lots of time together to begin with, but still he saw me. His wonderful attitude and smile will always be in my memory. It's sad to think someone so beautiful has passed. I am so thankful to still have that one year of memories. So glad to be able to say that I knew Bob Spellman. My deepest condolences to the family.
