Robin RICHARDS

RICHARDS, Robin, 55, of Asheville, NC, passed away at home un-expectedly on May 31, 2012. Robin was born in Houston, TX, and raised in Tampa, FL. Robin was preceded in death by her parents, Stephen M. and Marjorie Richards. She is survived by her sisters, Freda Beaty of Chapel Hill, NC, and Kathleen (Steve) Ginestra of Fort Lauderdale, FL; nieces, Ashley Wash, CeCe Wash, and Maggie Ginestra; and seven wonderful cousins. After attending the Academy of the Holy Names for twelve years, Robin received her BA and MA degrees from Clemson University, where she was a charter member of Alpha Delta Pi Sorority. After a long career in banking, Robin followed her passion for books to become a bookseller and bookstore manager in FL and NC. Robin never met a stranger. She adored good food, Southern mysteries, family and her myriad friends. She will forever be remembered for her infectious laughter, her sparkling blue eyes, and her endless capacity for empathy and love. A memorial service is being planned for August 11th in Tampa.
