Hi Jill
I am sorry that I mised everything. Rod and I had some great times working together, he will be missed. Please don't forget when you change your oil to use Mobil 1, I still do because of him.

On behalf of Vivienne, Erik and Alan, please accept our condolences on Rod's passing. Although we only were neighbours of Jill, Holly and Rod for a few years, we have many fond memories of Rod's engaging personality and of spending time with him and his family.
Fond regards.

I was lucky enough to meet and work with Rod during my many years at Bowne. Unfortunately, I would only see Rod in person a few times a year, but he always greeted me with that big smile and words of gratitude. He was the consummate gentleman and truly a good man. He will be missed.
We were all lucky to have him in our lives. My sympathies to his family and friends.

I have great memories of Rodney when we worked together at Bowne. He entertained many of us with his piano playing, and never failed to be able to play a song we came up with -- no matter how poorly we hummed the tune.
My sympathies to his family and friends.

Dear Jill, Holly and Family:
Shocked to hear of Rodney's sudden passing and our thoughts are with you all during this time. Remember Rodney playing the panio at our home in Kanata at Hazel and John's 40th anniversary and we were all so impressed. May Rod liven up heaven with his musical talents. We are so sorry for your great loss and may you know that others are thinking of you with love and concern. Talked and asked about you folks often when talking with Hazel. Much love Barry and Thelma Goodwin

So sorry to hear this sad news. As a co-worker at Bowne, I remember Rod with a smile because whenever Rod was in the room, you knew that there would surely be laughter. My heart goes out to you Jill, and to the whole family. I am sure you all have many wonderful memories of Rod and I hope that you find comfort in them.

Hi Jill, Hollie and family,
I met Rodney 52 years ago at T.R.H.S. in Grade 8. I had just arrived from England.
A lifelong friendship has been in place since then. Our weekends up the Batiscan River with Rod's dad Chuck will be with me for ever...my first .22 and hunting with Rod...
We have remained in contact through out our working lives and more recently -- internet contacts.
You played at our wedding -- Darlene and I will share that memory for ever.
Good hunting Olde Bean.....have some great trips with your truck and camper trailer -- and please do not forget to have the odd glass of wine.
All our Love, Allan & Darlene Leaver (from Florida)

There are no words that can comfort you at this time.We will always remember Rodney's natural talent for music . His rendition of night train remains in our memories as if it was yesterday. It is difficult to be so far away at this time when friends should be close by to stand by you. Know that our thoughts and prayers are with you and our condolences go out to you Jill and Holly ,and all the family members.

Rod, words escape me at the moment but I will always think of you as the genuine article. I will remember ways during our youth that our lives intertwined like no one else could experience. My condolences to Jill and all the girls.
