WESTVILLE, Ind.--Ronald Leroy Bogseth Sr., 54, of Westville, Ind., passed away because of a sudden illness on June 22, 2008, at the LaPorte Hospital, in LaPorte, Ind. Born March 16, 1954, in Chicago, to Harry and Estelle Thompson Bogseth, he moved to Westville from Fox Lake. Ronald was a painter for Aqualand Painters Inc. He coached and managed his sons Little League team, and was a fan of the Chicago Cubs, Bears and the Bulls.

Surviving are two sons, Ronald Leroy Bogseth of Valparaiso, Ind., and Kevin Michael (Alicia) Bogseth of Westville, Ind.; canine companions, Kaley (Doberman pinscher), and Serena (rottweiler); six sisters, Faith (Neil) Stieirt of Fox Lake, Loretta (Bill) Arko of Vernon Hills, Patricia Bogseth of Fox Lake, Carol (Al) Knapp of Libertyville, Leona Taylor of Fox Lake and Laura Bogseth of Mountain Home, Ark.; and two brothers, Larry Bogseth and Gerald Bogseth, both of Rochester, Ind. He was preceded in death by three brothers, Harry, Robert and Donald Bogseth.

Funeral service will take place at 10 a.m. Saturday, July 5, at K.K. Hamsher Funeral Home, 12 N. Pistakee Lake Road, Fox Lake. Friends may visit with the family an hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Arrangements were handled by the Good Family Funeral Home in Rochester, Ind.
