Ron loved motorcycles...1960

Jim Leggett

November 13, 2019

When one counts truest of friends treasured over a liftime, Ron was my best pal ever.

We met in Chatham1958, sharing a passion for motorcycles, even starting a motorcycle club, and enjoying road trips and race weekends with like-minded pals, at the Gleason Farm where we began, then tracks from New England to New Jersey etc.

Ron became a winning racer, First Place trophies galore filled a bedroom niche! indeed he could have gone pro!

Like others of the happy memorable Gleason family - the late Kate, Earnest and bother Sam - Ron was a guy with "no rough edges"...trustworthy, honorable - a great frend to share time with.

We will miss his cheering laughter, his grace and quiet demeanor. Proud to call him friend.

May his gentle soul rest in peace...
