Ronald B. Haymond

Ronald B. Haymond, 47, of Fairmont, died Tuesday evening (Oct. 27, 2009) at Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown.He was born in Fairmont on May 3, 1962, a son of Ralph G. Haymond of Fairmont and the late Evelyn Clark Haymond who passed away March 31, 2009.Ronnie was employed as a cement truck driver for Central Supply Co. of Westover. He was formerly employed at his family-owned and operated Haymond's Wrecker Service and later at C.W. Stickley, Sole's Electric, The Water Works and Ford Funeral Homes, all of Fairmont. He was a member of Acacia Lodge No. 157, AF and A Masons of Fairmont, a 32 degree Mason of the Scottish Rite of Free Masonry, Wheeling Consistory, A.A.O.N.M.S. Osiris Temple of Wheeling, the Upper Mon Valley Shrine Club, and the Osiris Temple Motor Corp. He was also a former member of the Fairmont Moose Lodge No. 9 and a former associate member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post No. 629 of Fairmont.Survivors in addition to his father include two brothers, Ralph "Jerry" Haymond II and his wife Kathy, Randall C. "Randy" Haymond and significant other Kathy Hall. Surviving aunts are Ruth Ellen Smith and her husband Gene of Alexandria, Va., Arletta Mick and husband Bud, Helen Allman and husband David, and Sue Higinbotham, all of Buckhannon. Nieces and nephews are Jennifer Haymond of Greensburg, Pa., Matthew Haymond, Beth Ann Haymond and Nicole Puccio and her husband Larry, all of Fairmont.Friends may call at Ford Funeral Home, Ford Chapel, 201 Columbia St., Fairmont, today from noon to 9 p.m. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday in Ford Funeral Home with the Rev. Jim Zinn officiating. Interment will follow at Mount Zion Cemetery and Mausoleum next to his mother.
