To the family of Ron Jamison,

I recently learned of the passing of
Ron and I want you to know that my thoughts and prayers are with you. I graduated with Ron from Oakdale High School and considered him a friend during that time. I remember Ron as a person who enjoyed life and as being very genuine. I'm sure he will be missed by all who knew and loved him. May God bless you all.

Dearest Jamison Family. My heart aches at the thought of such a wonderful person leaving us. But it is good to know he's not suffering anymore. When I moved to Oklahoma in 95 on Victor St next door to you all and became friends with Jessica, it was Ron who kept everyone laughing with his quick jokes and It amazed me how involved he was with Jess and Judd, always making sure his kids kept their studies up. I was amazed by their success. When I would stay with you all while my family was gone somewhere he would always make sure I was doing my homework when Jess was if I wasn't finished yet. One thing I will always remember would be that he loved pork rinds. I could never pop them in the microwave without then burning like he did, lol. My thoughts and prayers are with you all at such a tough time.

I grew up with Ron in Oakdale, CA., and remember him with great fondness. We shared many good times at school, after school at his childhood home on So. 2nd Ave., and throughout high school. I have a special memory of walking together to the Foster's Freeze when we were in 7th grade. I was having difficulty in woodshop and he encouraged me not to give up, that I needed to learn to do things with my hands as well as with my mind. I now think of him often when I'm working in my own wood shop and thank him each time something goes wrong, and his words continue to support me. He was a good friend, and I both miss him, and revere his memory. My deepest sympathies to his family, esp. Alton and Brenda, whom I knew, of course, though Ron.

To my Oklahoma family: We share the loss of Ron with you. So many good memories of him. He never, ever let me win at board games. I know he cheated!! He picked my brain - ouch. We shared the fishing stories, the Oklahoma trips, church, etc. After my hair appointment, he always said, "I thought you were getting your hair done!" He was one of a kind and I will miss him so much. So thankful for the good visit with him in June. I love you all.
