Ronald King Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Jul. 25, 2024.
It is with profound sorrow that we announce the passing of Ronald King on July 13, 2024. Born on November 25, 1968, Ronald lived a short, but meaningful life dedicated to his family and service to his community.

Ronald is survived by his wife, Ashley; his beloved children, daughter Taylor Gibson (Keefe), son Jasper King and daughter Amy Lukens-Anderson; his mother, Dixie King and his siblings Delores "Christy" Wentz, Donald Lee King (Tina), Val Pieper, Kimberly Clements (Bobby), Dixie Lee King, Kathy Glem (Travis) as well as several nieces and nephews. He now joins his predeceased father, Donald King, and siblings Tina and Jeff King.

Ronald was well-regarded for his dedicated service to his country. He began his career in the United States Air Force in 1987, serving as a medical lab specialist, who diligently cared for the injured during Desert Storm. After 30 years working in various medical laboratories, he would finish his career at Department of Veterans Affairs. Ronald was respected in his field and his life's work reflected his principles of integrity, teamwork and selflessness.

Ronald lived a life that was filled with simple pleasures. He cherished moments of tranquility and relaxation. Whether it was cheering on his favorite sports teams, playing with dogs, visiting family or cruising with his wife, Ronald found joy in every aspect of his life.

Ronald truly embodied the essence of service and he will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. A Celebration of Life will be held on August 15, 2024 at 2:00 PM at 636 E Main Street Brownsburg IN 46112.

In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations to the American Legion Post 113. Please visit https://www.americanlegion113.org/support-us to contribute. These funds will serve as a testament to Ronald's lifelong dedication to supporting veterans.
