Condolences to Ron's family and all the members as it is a pain like no other and could never be described. I met Ron in 1978 when they had the small store and gas station in front of their home. Ron sold me my first tri-tip steak from behind the meat counter which ,also had many different deli products. His parents would come out from the living quarters at times to help out to wash windows on the vehicle which we're getting fuel. You could see how he was raised and he followed that tradition with his own children. The patients they have the respect they have for everybody. He never said a bad word about anyone and showed empathy when needed. I was fortunate to meet a true real man . He wasn't afraid or hesitant to show it either. He was the last one of this kind of human thatI will have ever have the pleasure of meeting in my lifetime. A remarkable husband father and friend. God bless. In the isles of the old store in the 80s. Looking for some red wine, which, at the time he kept in a little refrigerator and called "Carbonet".

Ron Manfredi was my father in law for over 20 years. He made me feel loved and always a part of his family. He was a pillar to this community and to his family. I can´t even begin to put a number to how many families he has helped out thru the store over the years. Countless. That was the kind of man he was giving and compassionate. His heart was so big. His faith was enviable. His friendship was priceless and deep. One of my favorite memories of Ron was when I would see him and Dorothy and Father Ben out on the town listening to live music. Ron and Dorothy were probably in their 70´s. It was so cute. I will always remember Ronnie with fond memories and a smile even though painful now. I´ve always loved you Ronnie and am so grateful and appreciative of everything you have done for me and my family. You will be so missed but never forgotten. I know you are in heaven, tell Nono and Nana hello and that we miss them. Be at peace with your Heavenly Father. Love you always Forever your daughter in law Cindy

I´m so very sorry to hear of Ron´s passing and my deepest condolences to Dorothy, Sharon, Shirley & Louis, Michael, Mark and all of the family.
Ron and the Manfredi´s are part of my earliest and fondest memories of familial friendships in Dunsmuir. Aldo, Ron and Michael deer hunted together every autumn with my Dad and brother. When my Dad passed in 2015, Ron sent a simple touching note that remains in my heart. Over the years he was one of my favorite people to run into when I made it to Dunsmuir, I´ve missed that the last couple of years.
Ron lived, and leaves a legacy of, an exemplary life so well lived. May he RIP as he so well deserves. Again, my sincerest sympathy to all. - Margo
