Ronald William Rudolph

Ronald "Rudy" Rudolph, 78, of Coral Gables, Florida passed away Sunday, April 3, 2016 at his home. A memorial service will be held at 10am, Thurs, April 7 at Epiphany Catholic Church at 8081 SW 54 Court, Miami, Fl. Following the mass there will be a reception. Ron was born on July 15, 1937 in St. Albans, New York. He graduated from St. Patricks High in 1955 and from the University of Florida in 1963 and Florida law school in 1965. On May 26, 1962 he married the former Ann Catherine Martin in Miami Beach. Ron practiced real estate law for over 40 years until falling ill in 2008. Ron was an avid boater and fisherman and a member of Coral Reef Yacht Club. He was a mentor for Big Brothers Big Sisters, a lay eucharistic minister, and a member of both the University Club and Rod and Reel Club. Ron was also on the board of March of Dimes and a dedicated fan of the Florida Gators made very apparent by his Gator apparel worn daily. Ron is survived by his two sons Jason Martin Rudolph, Tampa and Arthur William Rudolph and his wife Janice of Nashville Tennessee;four grandchildren, Justin and Brittany Rudolph and Sophia and Ava Rudolph. He was preceded in death by his parents Erwin and Jackie Rudolph.
