Roy was our neighbor for 19 years, and a great friend. My favorite memory is maybe 10 years ago (yes, do the age math!) Len and I were working on something in our basement windows well. Roy pops over and says "I got this!", he jumps 5' down into the well and takes care of business!! Len and I stood there with our jaws open! Then, 5 years ago as we were moving to Asheville, he helped us load our moving truck on a snowy cold January day. He was the last Lombard neighbor I hugged as we left Illinois. He was one of a kind!!
