Unfortunately I was unable to attend Ruby's funeral, but I was definitely thinking of her and her family members during that time. Ruby and my grandmother were very close friends and I remember spending time at Ruby's quite often when I was younger. During my youth, Ruby sat in the pew in front of me in church and always had a smile and some little quip for me as I sat down every Sunday morning. She was a great lady and hearing of her passing brought back memories of losing my own grandma 16 years ago. Time marches on and we all get older, but Ruby will always hold a special place in my heart as I know she does in all of yours. Peace be to her memory.

My thoughts and prayers are with all Ruby's family members. She was such a wonderful lady. I will always remember going to her house with my mom to visit Ethel when she was in town. I know she will be truly missed by all that knew her.

Sincerely,
