Ruth Frieri Obituary
72, of Brewster, was taken home to the Lord on Friday, Jan. 5, 2018 following a lengthy illness. She was born in Massillon on February 14, 1945 to the late Wendell and Lucille (Carlo) Youngman.
Ruth was loved by all who knew her. She will be remembered for her gentle kindness and willingness to listen. She was a member of Holy Family Parish, St. Therese Catholic Church in Brewster.
She is survived by her husband of 53 years, Pasquale Frieri; children, Linda (Carmine) Russo, Lucy (Bryan) Henry and Frank (Beverly) Frieri; grandchildren, Carmine (Jessica) Russo, Salvatore, Gina and Gabrielle Russo; great granddaughter, Adelina; numerous in-laws, nieces, nephews, step-grandchildren and friends. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, James P. Mayne and sister, Rose Mary O'Mealy.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday at 10 a.m. at Holy Family Parish, St. Therese Campus in Brewster. Burial will follow in St. Clement Cemetery in Navarre. Friends may call on Tuesday from 1-3 and 6-8 p.m. at the Spidell Funeral Home in Brewster.

I am so sad to hear of my friend, Ruthie's, passing. Ruthie was a dear friend to me in our junior high school days in the Bronx, N. Y. Rest in peace. My sincere sympathy to her husband, Pat, children and grandchildren and to all to knew her.

I will miss everything about my dear friend ruthie , I will miss her calling me every evening , i will miss her stopping by just to talk , there wasn't a day Ruthie wouldn't say I love you my dear friend, the last day she said that to me was the day before she passed , I will miss you dear RUTHIE , more than amyone will ever know , there will never be any one like you, may you rest in peace !
