Ruth was a true lady and a respected artist. When I was 60, I finally followed my dream and Ruth graciously took me on as her last "new" student. She was 89 and oh how she could paint. I had 3 years with Ruth, she was a treasure in my life. I think of her often and I will truly miss her as will many.

To Ruth Levin's family,
Our deepest sympathy.
Ruth taugh me how to view life through the eyes of an artist. I have been a student of Ruth since I moved to Sarasota Fl, Sept. 2000. I had never painted before. Her words to me were that everyone can paint. It is how the teacher helps you bring it out on to the canvas. I loved Ruth as a teacher and as a dear friend. Her Wednesday class continues to meet weekly and we can feel her presence. She taught us well.

Ruth was a wonderful art teacher and friend. She lit up the room with her smile and great stories of her long and bountiful life. I will miss our Wednesday mornings together.
Fondly,
