I didn't know Ryan personally but when I looked at the picture I knew who he was. He played hockey with my brother Nick Stewart a few times. Ryan, dude i just saw you i dont even know what to say. You were a big part of my life. I think i can speak on behalf of all the SGS girls we sure bugged the hell outta eachother back than.Those were the days.. when i think back on my life and the best days in it i always think back to Simpson and outdoor ed.. You always getting in trouble in class.. I can sure thank you for making me a good hockey goalie with all yours and nicks shots.. ryan we only knew each other for a short time at college. but in a town that was so hard to spend time in you made it memorable. wether we were all watching hockey or partying or giving you horrible hair cuts it was allways a laugh. you stood up for me numerous times when stuff went down and that says alot of the person you were. you made it possible for me to play hockey up there when i didnt have eqiupment to play you got some sent up. you will be missed i feel so priviledged to know you and know there are many more people who have been touched by you one way or another rest in peace buddy

It was great to have Ryan as a neighbour when our 2 boys were young. We don't know if Ryan ever realized how much he meant to William and Ian, but we like to think he did know somehow, that he was special to them. What a wonderful guy he was: smart, funny and funloving, he seemed to make friends wherever he went.
