To all the Higgs Family: I just got back from a 6 day cruise with 3 of my sisters ranging in age from 75 to 59, had been keeping track daily of the web updates, just got back yesterday, and finished reading all the care pages updates, and it just broke my heart to read all the entries. Don't think for a minute you were not all in my prayers while onboard. As soon as I could call out in Boston, I called Carla Goeckner, and she said Ryan had passed away! My sisters were all praying for Ryan as well, and were heart broken to hear he had passed away. I guess this trip was meant to be, makes you realize life is soooo short sometimes, and God works in mysterious ways, and we have wonderful memories that will last us a lifetime, just as you do with Ryan. The Higgs family will always hold a special place in our heart, you are like family to us in sooo many ways. God be with all of you in the times ahead, and you will always be in our prayers! Lots of love to all the Higgs and Meece families!
