Sam Merluk

MERLUK, Sam September 20, 1924 - September 03, 2008 Sam passed away Wednesday, September 03, 2008 at the age of 83. He is survived by his brother Mike (Joey); sister Sophie (Don) Paradis; sister-in-law Stella, plus numerous nieces, nephews and friends. He was predeceased by his brother Steve (Bing) and sister Annie McCormick. Sam was born and raised in Cadomin, AB and worker in the coal mines before moving to Edmonton. He served in the RCAF from 1943 to 1946. He worked at Core Labs, where he was employed for many years. At Sam's request no service will be held. Cremation has taken place and a private Memorial Service will be held at a later date. Donations may be made in Sam's memory to a charity of ones choosing.
