Sammy Tim Langford of Austin, Texas, passed away unexpectedly at his home on Sunday, October 18, 2018. Mr. Langford was 62.

Born October 3, 1956, in Carthage, Texas, Sammy was the son of Marlin Langford and Phyllis Elizabeth (Morris) Langford. He had six siblings. Sammy's sister, Doris Stone, preceded him in death, as did his parents.

Mr. Langford had made Austin his home for many years and he was employed by Capital Metro of Austin at the time of his passing.

Sammy is survived by his wife, Maria Langford and their children, Sammy and Timothy Langford; daughter, Samantha Coffman and husband, Scott, and their daughter, Olivier Coffman; daughter, Tamara Ellison and husband, Brian; and their four children; Dylan King, Nick Ellison, Zac Ellison, and Emily Ellison. He is also survived by five siblings, Elmer Langford and wife, Judy; Marlin Langford and wife, Verona; Cliff Langford and wife, Betty; Penny Hughes; and Rufus Langford. Mr. Langford is also survived by a multitude of nieces and nephews around the country; along with other loving relatives and dear friends.

Friends may pay their respects between 5:00 p.m. and 9:00 p.m., Saturday, November 3, 2018 at the Cook-Walden/Capital Parks Funeral Home in Pflugerville, Texas. Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m., Sunday, November 4, 2018, in the Memorial Chapel of Cook-Walden/Capital Parks Funeral Home with committal services following at Cook-Walden/Capital Parks Cemetery.

Honoring Mr. Langford as pallbearers will be Elmer Langford, Marlin Langford, Cliff Langford, Rufus Langford, Scott Coffman, Brian Ellison, Alfred Castillo, Alberto Nino and Sam Compte.
