SAMUEL ALBRIGHT Obituary
On Tuesday, May 17, 2011, Samuel James Albright, 92, of Sunrise Assisted Living, Adams Twp., formerly of Marshall Twp. Born December 4, 1918 in Pittsburgh, he was the son of Samuel Henry and Margaret McRae Albright. Mr. Albright was a WWII US Marine veteran. He retired as a machine shop foreman with Union Electric Steel Corp. in Carnegie after 30 years of service. Mr. Albright was devoted to his family. He enjoyed boating, fishing and wintering in the Florida Key's in his motor-home. He is survived by his son, Mark A. Albright (Don Wolfkill) of Marshall Twp.; his daughter, Carol Braun (Ron) of Dallas, TX; two grandchildren, Lauren Tilley and Matt Braun; two great-grandchildren, Caroline and Charles Gray Tilley; and a sister, Jean Young of Washington, PA. Friends will be received 6-9 p.m. Friday at GLENN- KILDOO FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SVCS., INC., 130 Wisconsin Ave., Cranberry Twp. Funeral services will be held 10 a.m. Saturday, May 21 at the funeral home. Interment with military honors will follow in Robinson's Run Cemetery, McDonald. In lieu of flowers, memorial donation may be made to the American Diabetes Association, 300 Penn Center Blvd., Suite 602, Pittsburgh, PA 1235 (www.diabetes.org/donate). Mark and Carol,
Very sad to hear your dad passed away. Sam was my foreman when I hired in at Union Electric Steel here in Valparaiso Indiana in 1972. Him and myself have been in contact every since the day he retired. I just heard this week he had passed away and was saddened as I was thinking about callin him as I had not talked to him for a couple weeks. I always feared this would happen and was hoping that one of you would let me know when this day came. I will miss him, he was a great person.

Mark and Carol, We're so sorry for your loss. Your Dad was a great guy and we have lots of wonderful memories of him and your Mom. Hope you find comfort in your fond memories. Our parents' friendship over the years was very special. Love.

We were very sorry to hear about Sam. You had a wonderful father and were very lucky to have him in your life for so long. There will be an empty spot in our lives now, but he will always be in our hearts.
