I only recently learned that Sam had died, and wanted to convey my sympathy. I worked with Sam at Kadet photo in the framing department as a young woman for many years, before leaving to attend law school. He was an interesting and kind person; I enjoyed our many philosophical and political discussions. He was a lovely person.

Our deepest sympathies to Sam's family on his passing. I had the honor and pleasure of working with Sam when I worked at the Holocaust Center in Pittsburgh.
Sam was a very special man and I am sorry that I was unable to visit with the family due to a lingering illness. May his name forever be a blessing.

I am so sorry for the loss of Mr. Gottesman.
He was a patient at the dental office I work for and I have know him and his wife for many many years.
I enjoyed our talks.
I had taken my daughter years ago to see The Diary of Anne Frank in Oakland and saw the Gottesmans there. To our surprise Mr. Gottesman spoke afterwards about his surviving the Holocaust.
My daughter is in a Holocaust class in high school and her teacher knew him as well. I think her going to see the play and hearing Mr. Gottesman speak, is the reason that she has such an interest in learning all she can about the Holocaust.
I am so sad to hear about his passing.
He was a wonderful man, my prayers are with your family.

Sam was a wonderful friend and co-worker of mine at Kadet photo for many years. I treasured our early morning conversations almost every day for many years. I am honored to have his friend for\such a long time.
