PACE SAMUEL R.
Age 90, died peacefully Monday, December 31, 2012. He is survived by his wife, Susan. Sam and Sue spent 60 wonderful years together. He is lovingly remembered by his children, Robert and Denise Pace, Cindy and James Fountain, Keven Pace and Julie McConnell; also eight grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. Sam was a WWII Army veteran and was retired from the City of Pittsburgh's Water Department after 40 years of service and a longtime coach for the Perry Athletic Association Little League. Friends will be received 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Thursday at the REX T. SMITH FUNERAL HOME, 2860 Perrysville Ave. at Marshall. Blessing Service Friday 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to the Odyssey Hospice, 190 Bilmar Dr., Suite 200, Pittsburgh, PA 15205.

Sam was a great father, father in law, grandfather, great grandfather, and most of all husband. Sam will truley be missed and never forgotten by all that knew him. All his pain is gone and heaven just gained another great coach in the form of an angel.

Pace Family,
We are so sorry for your loss, Mr. Pace was a class act. He meant alot to both Renee and myself. He will be missed. Having lost my Dad, and Renee her Mom here in the last year, we know your pain. Love you guys, hope to see you all at the Bonvue reunion in the summer.
