Sandra Lee Blanchard

Sandra Lee Blanchard, age 75 passed away on December 2, 2022. She was born on December 12, 1946 in Toledo, Ohio to Carl and Janet (Zimmerman) Butterfield. She raise three daughters with James Fry. She worked for many years at Libby glass and later, retiring from the Toledo public schools. She was an avid volunteer, working for various organizations, such as hospice, her church and in theaters. As an active member of Five Lakes Church she loved sharing Gods message with others. She also loved to travel, her highlight was walking the 500 mile Camino de Santiago trail in Spain in 2018. Cards were her favorite pastime. She is survived by Kimarie Graham Kelley (James) Mrkva, Kristie (Eric) Madison, six grand children and sisters; Linda (Anthanasios "Tom") Papademos and Pamela Engel. She was preceded in death by her parents. A celebration of life will be held at Five Lakes church on December 6 at 1 PM and a luncheon to follow.
