Sandra Kay Kneip

KNEIP----Sandra Kay Kneip, 67 of Orange Park, FL passed away on September 2, 2009. She is survived by her loving husband of 26 years, Ronald J. Kneip; her sons Michael R. Davis, Jr. and wife Frieda of Manassas, VA, and Corey E. Davis and wife Tammy of Roxboro, NC; her grandchildren Jamie, Courtney, Madison, Taylor, Parker, and Brittany; sisters Shirley Horsfall and husband Dennis, and Barbara Cheek and husband Don; also her brother James Motes and wife Mary. Sandra was predeceased by her son James K. Davis, her parents Corinne Campbell Motes and James L. Motes; also her sister Cheryl Windham. Sandra will be remembered for her love of family and her love of animals especially her dogs. She was an avid bird watcher, loved to travel especially to the beaches and to the mountains for the fall colors, and she enjoyed flower gardens. She grew up in Belle Glade, FL and graduated from Belle Glade High School Class of 1960. Sandra was an Orange Park resident for the past 25 years. Funeral services in celebration of her life will be held at 10:00 AM Wednesday September 9, 2009 in the chapel of Jacksonville Memory Gardens Funeral Home, 111 Blanding Blvd., Orange Park with Chaplain Tim McDaniel officiating. Sandra will be laid to rest at Jacksonville National Cemetery at 2:00 PM that afternoon. Family members and friends will gather on Tuesday evening September 8, 2009 from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM at the funeral home. Floral memorial will be accepted or donations in Sandra's memory may be made to the American Cancer Society, 4030 Boulevard Center Drive, Jacksonville, FL 32207.
