Sandra Wilson

Sandra Wilson, 75, passed away on July 25, 2025, in Jacksonville, Florida. Born on January 13, 1950, in the same city she called home throughout her life, Sandra's journey was one marked by resilience, devotion, and a deep love for those around her.

Sandra was a woman of strong convictions and an even stronger heart. She cared deeply for her family and friends and was known for her unwavering loyalty. Her strength was matched by her compassion-those who knew her found comfort in her presence and warmth in her words. But she also had a fiery spirit; Sandra stood firm in her beliefs and didn't hesitate to speak her mind when needed.

She found joy in the simple pleasures of life. A passionate gardener, Sandra took pride in nurturing vibrant blooms and lush greenery. She loved casting a line on peaceful fishing trips and could often be found cheering during wrestling matches with enthusiasm. One of her favorite pastimes was heading out on the gambling boat-a thrill she enjoyed with unmistakable delight.

Sandra's love extended beyond people to animals as well. She adored her dogs and cherished all the animals that were part of her life, treating them as beloved members of the family.

Her faith was rooted in the Baptist tradition, which guided many aspects of her life and offered strength through both joyful and challenging times.

Sandra is survived by her daughter Catina Smyth (Gregory Smyth) her Son Walter Foxwell and brother Jack Owens and 8 Grandchildren Travis ,Kandace Britney (Chris), Breanna ,Brian Brandon ,Justin ,Angle . She was preceded in death by her brothers Stanley Owens, Phillip Owen, Paul Owen, and Chuck Owens; and by her sisters Edith Owens Smith, Frances Celindro Owens, and Faye Owen.

Sandra's memory will live on through those who knew and loved her. May it bring comfort to remember the strength she carried, the love she gave so freely, and the laughter she shared along the way.
