Sandy Senor

Sandy Senor "Caregiver"  PRICE- Sanford C. Senor, age 69, passed away January 5, 2004 in a Provo Hospital.Born May 24, 1934 in Cleveland, Ohio to Jerome J. and Margaret K. Deutchslander Senor. Married Jean Moore, later divorced. Married Nikki Nikas, August 1977 in Price. Member of the Assumption Greek Orthodox Church in Price where he served as Treasurer. Retired from the US Military with 15 years of service in the Navy and five years in the US Army. Sandy was awarded the Bronze Star, Purple Heart and the Army Commendation Medal. Member of the V.F.W. Miners Post #2379, Price, Utah where he served as  Quartermaster. Sandy dedicated the last seven years as a caregiver to his loving wife, Nikki. As a constant caregiver and a staunch supporter of the Active Re-Entry Caregiver's Support Group, Sandy shared his support and talents in many articles, caregiver magazines and to people all over the world. He also enjoyed representing Mr. and Mrs. Santa Claus for many of the children and adults in the Carbon County area. Sandy will be dearly missed by all. "May His Memory Be Eternal".  Survived by his loving wife, Nikki Senor, Price; son, David J. (Cindy) Senor, Stonington, CT; daughter, Laurie A. (Ian) McGee, Orlando, FL; sister, Judy (John) Schoger, Lakewood, OH; daughter, Antoinette "Toni" (Robert) Mermer, Fresno, CA; son, Craig (Peggy) Hobi, Farmingdale, NY; son, Brent (Marie) Hobi, Price; daughter, Renee Hobi, San Diego, CA; and many loving grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by parents, and brother, Robert Senor. Funeral service, Thursday, Jan. 8, 2004, 2:00 p.m., Assumption Greek Orthodox Church. Trisagion service, Wed. evening 7:00 p.m. Mitchell Funeral Home. Family will be at Mitchell's Wed. and Thurs. one hour prior to services. Interment, Price City Cemetery. The family suggests contributions to the Assumption Greek Orthodox Church or the American Cancer  Society.
