Sarah Maria Isabel Echevarria Obituary
Sarah Echevarria, 28, of Chino Hills, CA, entered into God's kingdom on April 13th, 2023. Sarah was born February 20, 1995, in Colorado Springs, CO, to Carlos and Debbie Echevarria.
Sarah, the most loving and caring daughter, sister, and friend is survived by her parents, Carlos and Debbie, brother, Gabriel, sister, Alexandria (Allie), and fiancé Derek Bizub.
Sarah graduated from Ruben S. Ayala High School in Chino Hills, California and was a senior at California State University, Fullerton scheduled to complete her major in Marine Biology this coming December 2023. Sarah was a Peer Advisor at Project RAISE providing guidance and assistance to Hispanic/Latinx/a/o/e and low-income STEM students. Sarah was also the internationally recognized expert on the southern Asian songbird, Scaly-breasted Munia (Lonchura punctulata), and had recently received a grant to continue her research and studies on the Scaly-breasted Munia.
A viewing will be held on May 1, 2023 between 4:00 and 8:00 p.m. and the funeral will be held on May 2, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. at Queen of Heaven Catholic Cemetery, 2161 Fullerton Rd, Rowland Heights, CA 91748.

May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow. Sarah was an ambitious person who had clear goals and worked toward them. She was kind and friendly. I was fortunate to be her classmate and get to know her during this short semester. Her departure saddened me greatly; however, I'm certain that she is somewhere better looking over us.
Sarah, you will be missed; rest in peace.
